Farmers Market SNAP/Produce Perks Program – (Saturdays 9am-Noon, May 25th-Oct 26th, 2024)
The program allows people to use their SNAP Food EBT Card
at the Main Street Delaware Farmers Market and gives additional incentive tokens of up to $25 per market day in matching tokens (called Produce Perks) to buy fruits and vegetables.
In addition, these other vouchers are accepted at the Main Street Delaware Farmers Market: WIC, Produce Rx, and Fruit & Vegetable Vouchers.
Who can participate?
- Any person with an active SNAP benefits Ohio EBT card can use their card and receive additional Produce Perks Tokens at the Main Street Delaware Farmers Market. If you need to sign up for SNAP benefits, click here:
- Any person that has been issued eligible vouchers such as WIC, Produce Rx, and Fruit & Veg coupons.
How it works?
At the Main Street Delaware Farmers Market go to the Andrews House SNAP table located on the porch of 20 E. William St to use your EBT card to obtain your SNAP & Produce Perks tokens. Other vouchers such as WIC, Produce Rx, and Fruit & Veg Coupons are distributed by state-wide and local health agencies. This Token-Voucher Eligible Food Guide will help you as you shop.
This program is currently only good at the Main Street Delaware Farmers Market.
