About Angel Food Ministries
On the third Saturday of February, Andrews House distributed 14 boxes of food purchased through Angel Food Ministries. Angel Food Ministries is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing food relief to communities throughout the United States. Established in 1994 to provide for families in Georgia,
Angel Food Ministries now serves hundreds of thousands of families across 39 states.
Angel Food offers a medium-sized box of food for $30 that contains quality food from every food group, including meats, milk, eggs, and vegetables. One box of food feeds a family of four for one week.
The menu varies each month, and consists of fresh and frozen items. Specialty boxes are available which include meats, seafood, fresh fruit & vegetables,
allergen-free meats, and senior/convenience meals. Food is purchased directly from top suppliers. Those who participate with Angel Food receive brand name food without worry about freshness.
Angel Food is for everyone. There are no limits to the quantity of boxes per individual, nor are there any applications or qualifications for eligibility.
Ordering Instructions
Orders can be placed online until deadline with your credit/debit card, or at the Andrews House office during business hours (9am-5pm) until deadline listed above. We accept cash (preferably exact change), checks, money orders, and Direction Cards. Direction card purchases must be made in person, others may be dropped off or mailed in by due date. Best days to order in person are Mondays, Wednesdays or Thursdays.
Pickup Instructions
Pickup is between 9-10am in the front Great Room at Andrews House. Andrews House is located at the corner of Winter and Franklin Streets in downtown Delaware. It is best to come in the front entrance (on Winter Street). A handicap entrance is available at the back of the building. Please bring an empty medium sized box or laundry basket for each Signature Box ordered.
